“Nanny state” cliche long past retirement age
The nanny cliche is surely well past retirement age? It is at least as inaccurate as it is worn out. What kind of nanny increases tax on something or reduces its availability? None. And who actually spend billions telling us what to do? Commercial advertisers. ■
